Introduction To The Use Of Subminiature Power Relay

2022-08-02 10:42

Power relay is a device that can produce jump in one or more electrical output circuits when the input (or excitation) meets some specified conditions, and can be used in neutral point direct grounding system as the directional element of zero sequence current protection. It is widely used. Today we will talk about the application and working principle of Hongze small power relay.

Introduction To The Use Of Subminiature Power Relay

Power relays are often used in applications such as air conditioners in household appliances. The more common ones are Hongze's 932, 973 and so on. In recent years, high-power household appliances have developed rapidly, such as electric water heaters, drinking fountains and so on.

1. Rated working voltage or rated working current: This refers to the voltage or current required by the coil during high-power operation. The structure of one model is basically the same. In order to adapt to the application of circuits with different voltages, a large model usually has a variety of rated working voltages or rated working currents, which are distinguished by specifications and models.

2. DC resistance: This refers to the DC resistance of the coil. Some product manuals give the rated working voltage and DC resistance. At this time, the rated working current can be calculated according to Ohm's law. If the rated working current and DC resistance are known, the rated working voltage can also be calculated.

3. Pull in current: it refers to the minimum current that small high-power relay can produce pull in action. In practice, the given voltage can be equal to or slightly higher than the rated working voltage to make the small high-power relay reliably pull in. Generally, it should not be greater than 1.5 times the rated working voltage. Otherwise, the coil will be burned.

4. Release current: it refers to the maximum current that small high-power relay produces release action. If the current of the small high-power relay in the pull in state is reduced, when the current is reduced to a certain extent, the small high-power relay returns to the state when it is not powered on. This process is called the release action of the small high-power relay. The release current is much smaller than the pull in current.

5. Load: it refers to the allowable voltage or current of small high-power relay contacts. It determines that the small high-power relay can control the voltage and current. In application, small high-power relays with small contact load cannot be used to control high current or high voltage.
